When Mom contacted me to book their Dallas maternity session, I was absolutely thrilled. I worked with her at Fossil once upon a time, and I just knew this session was going to be so much fun, and that the images would be amazing. She perfectly plans each detail, and their Dallas maternity session was no exception.
We met in August, and while it was HOT, Lakeside Park in Dallas was gorgeous, as was Mom. She was truly glowing and both Mom and Dad were ecstatic to meet this little lady in December. We incorporated a few special “props” into their session, but truly focused on their love for this girl they were so anxious to meet. I love maternity sessions, and I am even more partial to sessions where the baby is the first baby parents are welcoming into the family. It’s all so NEW, and there is so much anticipation, hope and excitement that abounds from both parents, and it is contagious. Maternity sessions are special – I love hearing about baby showers, family celebrations, car-seat installations, and nursery details as Mom and Dad prepare to welcome their little one(s) home. And when siblings are there, it’s fun to hear their take on their new little baby sister or brother, too! 😉
